Birthday Madness

What a day! I knew when I woke up this morning that it was going to be a good day.  As you can see in the video, I was in a GREAT mood from the start.

I actually had to be coaxed into eating my cupcake.  Mommy was really confused by that.

This is not the face of a girl enjoying her dinner.

  Without a doubt, more of this food ended up in my hair than in my stomach. (Notice the sweet Alfalfa sprout.)

I suck my thumb when I am tired, overwhelmed or a little bit freaked out. (I know, I have heard tons of comments on how it will mess up my teeth, blah, blah, blah - just try and stop me from doing it. Seriously, I dare you to pull my thumb out of my mouth. Do it. You'll be sorry.) Needless to say, all of these little things flying around freaked me out more than a little bit.

The only way Mommy could tempt me away from the fireplace, fireplace screen, and fire poker was to lure me with another toy I'm not supposed to play with - the video camera. What can I say? I live on the edge.
