Mystery Solved

This explains why I was crying all the way home in the car last night.

The only way Mommy could tempt me away from the fireplace, fireplace screen, and fire poker was to lure me with another toy I'm not supposed to play with - the video camera. What can I say? I live on the edge.

First Trip to the Zoo

I couldn't see much - it was pretty crowded, but what I could see I really enjoyed. I am looking forward to going again soon!

I am officially on the move!

It is really difficult to get a picture of me in action, partly because I move so quickly and partly because Mommy is frantically babyproofing the areas around me as I go. Here I am systematically pulling everything off of the bookshelf in my bedroom. Fun!

New Kicks

Since the mornings are getting a little cooler, Mommy and Daddy got me a pair of shoes. I can only wear them for short periods of time, because they really freak me out. I have done all I can think of to get rid of them - I pull and pull at them and kick my feet frantically to fling them off, but nothing works.

On a side note, I have been holding out my hand like this and waving my arm up and down a lot lately. We are still in the process of trying to figure out what it means. Stay tuned...

Bananas

Mommy asked me the other day whether, if given the choice, I would eat only bananas. I think the answer is obvious.

NOTE: Bananas also make an excellent mousse for your hair (as seen in this video) - it has a strong hold without that stiff feeling.
